 The Memorial Temple for Lord Wu was built in the third year of Emperor Guangxu’s administration in the Qing Dynasty (1877) in the memory of Wu Tang, who was a governor for grain transportation. It was listed into one of the municipal relic protection units in 2003.It took Wu Tang 10 years as a magistrate of Qinghe to be a governor for grain transportation, preventing the flood and relieving the people in disaster, fighting with the enemies and building fortress, protecting homeland and making peace, constructing the Dacheng Palace for Wen Temple, establishing Chongshi Academy, opening up wasteland and training soldiers. He has a decisive position in the late Qing Dynasty and modern history with prominent reputation.
